THE RIVER KEEPS NO ARCHIVE ========================== 2026-10-02 // 1 min read // #manifesto #zine Why a fanzine, why now, and what 野史 means: history written outside the official record. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Every official record has the same weakness: someone had to approve it. 河童 (kappa) is the river creature of Japanese folklore. It drowns the careless, steals cucumbers, and bows back if you bow first, because its head holds a dish of water and the water is everything. 野史 (yashi) is the other half of the name: history kept outside the court, in the margins, by people nobody asked. This place is that. Not a feed, not a portfolio. A fanzine: small, dense, slightly dangerous, printed in the dark. WHAT GOES IN HERE ----------------- * Build notes from things I am actually making: shells, themes, worlds. * Field reports from the margins of 3D, AI and the web. * Sketches that never got a project. | Rule one: if it can be said in a tweet, it does not belong here. HOW TO READ IT -------------- Slowly. Press / to jump anywhere, hjkl to move between posts, g to switch language. If you are in a terminal, there is a plain-text mirror at /txt/ [1]. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- More soon. The river keeps no archive, so I will. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- LINKS [1] https://www.kappayashi.page/txt/
